This case presents HPROJ’s work on the modernization of CENESP — Centro Empresarial de São Paulo, with a focus on façade retrofit and coordinated technical documentation to support implementation in an active, operating business complex.

Project context
CENESP is a large and established business complex in São Paulo. Over time, the site underwent modernization efforts to update performance, comfort, and operational efficiency while preserving the complex’s architectural identity and overall visual consistency.
Retrofit delivery challenge
The façade retrofit required planning and technical coordination to keep the buildings operational during execution. The solution adopted prioritized modularity and repeatability, with improvements to envelope performance and shading strategies, supported by consistent implementation documentation.
HPROJ scope
- Technical structuring and documentation to enable retrofit works while the buildings remained in operation.
- Coordination and interface management between workfronts and systems.
- Technical support for modernization activities associated with the retrofit (including lighting/energization interfaces when applicable to the work package).
